To say a certain YEAR in Chinese, you can read a four-digit number separately plus the character 年 (nián).
In Chinese, we put the character 月 after number 1 - 12 to express the twelve months of the year.
The name of the dates are produced by the numbers 1 to 31 plus 号 or 日.
The numbers 1 to 6 follow “星期” to express Monday to Saturday. The name for Sunday is 星期天 or 星期日.
The word order for expressing the date and days of the week is: 年(nián) + 月(yuè) + 日(rì) + 星期(xīnɡ qī)
So, November 29th, 2017, Wednesday is 2017年11月29日星期三(èr línɡ yī qī nián, shíyī yuè èrshíjiǔ rì, xīnɡ qī sān) in Chinese.
